MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide business development services primarily to micro and small enterprises in the Diamond and Jewellery sector

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Provide relevant business advisory services and information to micro and small enterprises
  • Conduct Business Diagnostics using relevant tools
  • Facilitate and manage the implementation of interventions and business growth strategies
  • Facilitate access to markets, finance and improvement of business skills of enterprises
  • Monitor   and evaluate the improvement  of client business

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Matric (NQF level 4) plus Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Management/Economics or equivalent

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 1 – 3 years’ relevant work experience, where at least 1 year 

Experience was to working with Small businesses as a business consultant/advisor

 

Able to demonstrate:

  • Good understanding and knowledge of the small enterprise development sector
  • Understanding and knowledge of the diamond or jewellery sector will be an added advantage
